Keepin' It Clean
The essential goal of a Soil and Water Conservation District is to help us use our natural resources wisely so that they will be available for future generations. As a member of the youngest generation of adults, Jesse O'Driscoll has a mind toward this long-term future in which some other interests may not have a stake.
Jesse has long been interested in stewardship and management of natural resources. From classes in Toxicology and Aquatic Ecosystems to calling for better cleanup systems for a creek that flow into Texas' 3rd-longest river, to fishing and drinking (with a filter) from Minnesota's lakes and rivers, to building relationships with current and prospective D.C. officials in order to protect sensitive areas from a pollution risk, his experiences have equipped him to bring a careful mind to how we care for water.
